Info Sessions

Potential participants can attend our Info Sessions occurring during June and July for more details regarding natHACKS before officially signing up. These sessions will allow those enthusiastic about neurotech to see brain-computer interface hardware in action, along with providing them with the opportunity to engage with potential teammates in the Alberta neurotech community.

Discord

The natHACKS Discord is the place where all official communications for the event will take place, and is a great spot to meet potential teammates leading up to the event!

Public access to the natHACKS Discord is now closed. If you signed up for the event before the application deadline, but did not join the Discord, please email neuralbertatech@gmail.com with a request to join the server.

Hardware Rentals

• NAT is excited to provide commercial-grade brain-computer interfaces for participants to use during the event!
• Hardware will be shipped upon the payment of a deposit to NeurAlbertaTech, which will be fully reimbursed should the hardware be safely returned. Partial to full deposit discounts may be provided to those in financial need, and NeurAlbertaTech will also pay for shipping costs in both directions.
• Note that hardware rental applications are competitive and will be adjudicated by the natHACKs Board of Directors.
• Also note that while hardware use is encouraged, it is not mandatory, and that templates to simulate brain data will be provided to all participants during the event.
• The hardware application deadline is July 9, 2021 at 23:59 MDT.
• The hardware rental program is restricted to residents of Canada and the United States.
